Vision of the Mission - The Objective

As an IMPLEMENTATION FIELD WORKER (IFW), I'll be working in the "field" to ignite and implement the passion and strategy of Evangelism Explosion (EE) in local churches. Where is the field? Right in my home land - Jamaica. The MISSION STATEMENT OF EE is " To glorify God by equipping believers to multiply in and through local churches worldwide". I have been trained to share the gospel with non-believers, make disciples of new believers and to train others to train others.

EE believes it is better to train fishermen (multiplication) than to just give a person a fish (addition) and so my core function will be to go across the island of Jamaica to different churches to engage the pastors and their leaders on a more effective way to train fishermen, equipping believers to more effectively share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

A target has been set for each IFW. Our focus is to share the EE strategy and ensure that it is incorporated or implemented by at least fifteen (15) church bodies across ALL Christian denominations annually.

Evangelism Explosion Fiji 2010 Experience

After almost 20 hours traveling from Jamaica in the Caribbean to Miami Airport, then from there to Los Angeles, then to Fiji in the Pacific Ocean, I was pretty much ready to go back to Jamaica. What was I thinking coming all this way! I love traveling but this was a bit much even for me. It was a good thing I had company. Rochelle.

My friend Rochelle was from the same church, Portmore Holiness Christian Church. We slept and woke up on the different air crafts many times. We even crossed time zones

Fiji is beautiful, the people friendly and the harvest ripe. People are just hungry for the word of God, big and small, young and old. I considered the journey well worth it. I met persons from India, Kenya, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Papa New Guinea, Fiji and our presenters and instructors from Australia. We were all here for the same purpose. To be equipped with tools and strategies to share the gospel and to train and equip others.

I am glad to be a part o his experience and this mission nits time to seek so that Jesus can save the lost.
